Lisa Giving Shape

Lisa giving: Middle Fingers

The Middle Fingers are Lisa’s first large-scale inflatable intervention: four-meter-tall, neon-colored middle fingers that inflate within seconds and light up from within.

Launched live during Merol's performance at Rock Werchter Festival 2025, they rose up in a crowd of thousands — absurd, confrontational, yet oddly joyful. The piece plays with public gesture, rebellion, and the absurdity of mass approval and disapproval.

Each finger is both personal and political: a protest sign, a celebration of non-conformity, and a literal “pop-up” disruption.

The Swinging Red Middle Finger

Driven by a fan, the Red Swinging Middle Finger lingers somewhere between protest and performance. It’s not loud, but it’s definitely not polite. A slow, passive-aggressive appearance that insists on being seen.
Is it angry? Playful? Nice was never really the point.
The viewer decides. The finger doesn’t care.
